How do parents with children in Natick Public Schools tell the federal government that local leaders continue to jeopardize safety and opportunities for girls and indoctrinate students in divisive, controversial gender and race-based ideology? Here are two new tools that empower you to protect your child:
File sex-based discrimination complaints
At the federal level, the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights has already announced new investigations into a number of schools and other entities for violating Title IX by failing to protect female students’ privacy and safety rights. This includes an investigation into the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) for refusing to adopt rules to protect female athletes.
Despite these positive developments, many Massachusetts schools (including Natick Public Schools) continue to allow boys who identify as girls into girls’ bathrooms, locker rooms, and onto their sports teams.
If you are the parent of a student in Natick Public Schools and your child's school is not complying with Title IX, you can file a complaint against the district using this template. Federal law prohibits the school district from retaliating against you or your child for filing a Title IX complaint.
Many polls show a strong majority (70%) of the public (including Democrats) support protecting sex segregation in female sports. Sex-based protection for females reflects the original intent of Title IX — eroding fairness and safety for female athletes is bad for women and girls.
Report illegal discriminatory practices around radical indoctrination
The U.S. Department of Education launched EndDEI.Ed.Gov, a public portal for parents, students, teachers, and the broader community to submit reports of discrimination based on race or sex in publicly funded K-12 schools.
The secure portal allows parents to provide an email address, the name of the student’s school or school district, and details of the concerning practices. The Department of Education will use submissions as a guide to identify potential areas for investigation. You can share screenshots, documents, lesson plans, and policies that reflect political agendas and divisive ideological content disguised as "diversity, equity, and inclusion" practices.
We know Natick Public Schools curriculum indoctrinates students in a controversial, anti-science belief system about gender, which confuses the minds of young children and erodes the quality education parents and taxpayers expect from public schools in towns like Natick. We also know NPS procedures instruct staff to hide students' self-declared school gender identity from his/her parents.
Take action today to help restore safety for all students
Many districts, such as Natick Public Schools, are imposing unsafe practices on families as well as conflating issues and misleading communities on the need for these gender policies and procedures with discrimination laws.
Let’s hold Natick Public Schools accountable and make sure your child's education is focused on quality academics and that parental rights are respected.
Contact your child's principal about policy IHAM-R to opt your child out of biased and controversial gender lessons and to voice your concerns about unsafe gender procedures that direct school staff to hide your child's chosen gender identity from you.
