NATICK HS Curriculum Update: White People Should Attend Adjunct Retreats to Remedy Their Racism

Natick High School students are taught "White privilege" propaganda

Last month, we sounded the alarm to Natick parents and taxpayers on the 12th grade Natick High School English course titled "Identity in America"that indoctrinates students in Critical Race Theory (CRT) "White privilege" and "White saviorism" principles.

A deeper dive into the "Identity in America" course materials (which we received through a public records request) reveals more radical, divisive, and indoctrinating propaganda students are being taught about White people and systemic racism.

ABC News and HuffPost are among the ideological resources used to indoctrinate students in modern day "White privilege" concepts and systemic racism claims.

Here's a summary of five noteworthy, race-based claims NHS students are learning through politically biased, ideological course materials (such as these articles from ABC News and HuffPost), which are a far cry from high-quality curriculum aligned with robust scholarly standards and academic rigor:

  1. White people get to make all the rules...even creating limits on who can immigrate into the country.

  2. Institutional racism resides in "great schools" that are not diverse.

  3. If your best friends include people of color but you have to count them, there is a structural racism problem.

  4. If those who serve are always the "usual suspects," there might be an institutional racism problem.

  5. White people should attend adjunct workshops and retreats to remedy their racism toward people of color.

Here are excerpts from the Health Affairs course glossary resource that indoctrinates students in the remedies to "White privilege" and systemic racism that is said to be rampant in all aspects of life and perpetrated by Whites:

Radical "White privilege" ideology divides and demeans ALL races

The federal government's executive order (EO) "Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling" reminds us why this radical ideology is so divisive, demeaning, and harmful to students of all races:

"In many cases, innocent children are compelled to adopt identities as either victims or oppressors solely based on their skin color and other immutable characteristics....these practices not only erode critical thinking but also sow division, confusion, and distrust..."

Along with the federal government, many parents, organizations (including Parental Rights Natick) and schools across the country object to the principles of CRT because they explicitly reject the ideals of meritocracy, individuality, a color-blind society, and traditional civil rights.

Why is Natick Public Schools spending time and resources on politically motivated content when we know our children need high-quality curriculum to succeed? Why is Natick Public Schools teaching children they are an oppressor or oppressed based on the color of their skin?

Let’s hold Natick Public Schools accountable and make sure your tax dollars are funding your child's quality education, not radical indoctrination.
